Synopsis

As the War continues, Amuro and the White Base crew must make their way toward the Earth Federation Headquarters, Jaburo. On their way they will meet several new enemies and face off against impossible odds. They will fight in Operation Odessa to relieve the Earth from the clutches of the Zeon forces.

Lives will be lost, new friendships will be made, and discoveries lie at every corner. Amuro soon learns that he possesses the power of the mysterious Newtypes.

Mobile Suit Gundam I

In the year 0079 of the Universal Century, the Earth Federation and its space colonies are engaged in an apocalyptic war. The rebellious Principality of Zeon, using humanoid fighting machines called mobile suits, has all but vanquished the Federation. Now the Federation's last hope is the prototype mobile suit Gundam. When a twist of fate makes young civilian Amuro Ray the Gundam's pilot, his own battle begins - a struggle not only for the Federation's survival, but for his own. This movie roughly corresponds to episodes 1-13.
