Synopsis

The three-part OVA series will chronicle a story taking place before Chise meets the Magus.
Chise Hatori has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Far from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls. Just when all hope seems lost, a fateful encounter awaits her. When a man with the head of a beast, wielding strange powers, obtains her through a slave auction, Chise's life will never be the same again.

Those Awaiting a Star I

Chise is the student and future bride of the Thorn Sorcerer, Elias. They receive a package from Angelica in London: mostly textbooks, save for one special book.

Those Awaiting a Star II

The magician of the forest invites Chise into his library. Chise is reluctant at first, but they develop a strong friendship that would have a lasting influence on her.

Those Awaiting a Star III

As Chise leaves the library The magician of the forests tragic past is revealed. Chise helps Miura deliver a book long overdue and plans to re-read her book "The Lonely Little Star" from a new perspective.
