Hiromi wins the practice match for the secondary member selection. But Munakata tells her that a match won without so much as an ace is no win at all and orders her to do even more training.

The South Kanto Training Camp, which takes the top junior players, is taking place with 17 players, including Hiromi. All of the strongest players that Hiromi's faced so far.

One day, as Captain Hoshino's send-off match nears, Kyoko asks Coach Munakata if she can be paired with Hiromi. Then, she gives Hiromi a notebook filled with all of her shortcomings. Just what is Kyoko's intention?

Finally, the Kanto Ladies' doubles finals are here. Her heart swirls with anxiety and hope as Hiromi stands on the court. But at that very moment, as Reika is in the car, on the way to the match, an unexpected disaster unfolds.

With the Kanto Junior Championship finals match in sight, Hiromi's training kicks into high gear. And on the court, shining in the morning sun, Hiromi sees Todo training in silence.

The doubles semifinals have begun. As Hiromi rushes to the court, a lone girl suddenly stands in her way: Her opponent, Yumi Kawamura of Ohara High.

Just running fast won't get you far in tennis. That's Coach Munakata's advice to a proud Hiromi as she runs around. But besides training more, there's nothing else she can do for now.

Hiromi and Reika are backed against the wall after losing the first set. But Kihara and Izuka are relentless with their Tornado Serve. Finally, the second set hits a 5-5 deuce. Will Hiromi and Reika be able to break through the Tornado Serve?

The first round of the Kanto Junior Doubles Championship series has begun. Reika and Hiromi face a tough opponent: Showa High. Reika continues to ignore her partner and play by herself.

With their eyes set on the Kanto Tournament, Hiromi and Reika are training hard. However, Hiromi's misplays are rampant. But the invincible doubles pair of Todo and Ozaki are there to watch over her.

Hiromi can't get along with Madam Butterfly, and their pairing isn't working out. Increasingly worried, Hiromi's playing only worsens. As if to reject her further, Madam Butterfly takes a day off from practice.

At the celebration party for Nishi High's group win, Kyoko Otowa hands in her club resignation. Munakata is shocked, but her decision is firm.

Hiromi wins the tournament and is hailed throughout the school as the second most successful newcomer following Madame Butterfly. Munekata starts training Hiromi and her team hard for tomorrow's final.

Before her individual match, Hiromi's pairing changes. Her opponent is none other than her idol: Madam Butterfly. Faced with Hiromi's unexpected potential, Reika gets serious.

Otowa is very upset by Coach Munakata's handling of Ryuzaki's injury. The very next day, a special meeting is held, where Munakata and Hiromi find themselves targets of unbridled rage.

At last, the semifinals have begun. Kita High takes the first set, 6-2. Calm down, Oka! Just stay calm! Munakata's scolding makes Hiromi move.

Hiromi Oka, a first-year student at West High School, joins the tennis club admiring Reika Ryuzaki, aka Mrs. Butterfly, and senior Todo. She is a complete beginner, but as soon as she joins the club, the devilish coach, Munekata, sees her talent.

The Orchid's powerful serve flies like a bullet. Pelted down by those shots, Hiromi falls to the ground. I'm scared of the court! Hiromi cries out.
