Synopsis

Miyamo Chio, a first-year at the completely ordinary high school Samejima Academy. Chio just wants to get through her school life without standing out too much, but for some reason, all kinds of obstacles await her along the path she takes to school. Her long-time friend Nonomura Manana, who's trying to quit being an otaku; the flawless Hosokawa Yuki, who occupies the top caste in the school; and lots of nameless people about town find themselves in Chio's path as she employs the (useless) techniques she's acquired from her Western video games in her daily efforts to get to school.

Part A: Chio-chan happily heads to school after spending the whole night gaming, but her usual route is blocked because of construction. Part B: Chio-chan wakes up much earlier than usual.

Part A: There are so many dangers on the way to school! Part B: Chio-chan heads to school with her childhood friend Manana. Part C: Chio-chan is heading to school one day when she sees both Manana and Yuki waiting for her.

Part A: Chio-chan is told by Yuki that the head of the Kabaddi Club, Kushitori, is missing. Part B: Chio-chan spent way too much time playing video games yet again and turns her commute into an imaginary route from a game.

Convenience Store Chio-chan / Chio-chan and the Duel / Remnants of That Day

Part A: Chio-chan heads to her usual convenience store. Part B: Eihira Private Girls’ Academy is a renowned school where only the richest girls go. Part C: Chio-chan and Manana run into an old lady who’s always sitting in front of a café, all alone.

Yuki-chan Doesn't Care / Chio Fisher / Momo-chan's Story

Part A: Chio-chan and Manana head to school with their popular friend, Yuki. Part B: Chio-chan tries to tell Manana about an exciting new game. Part C: Momo thinks back on how she became a member of the disciplinary committee.

Part A: Tests are an unavoidable part of a student's life. Part B: Chio-chan spots a water pipe and starts talking about it as if it were her ideal boyfriend, which makes Manana laugh.

Part A: One day, Momo asks Chio-chan and Manana if they’d eat some sweets with her. Part B: Chio-chan is walking to school by herself when she spots the little girl she had a duel with before. Part C: Andou and George have a little adventure.

Part A: Chio-chan is busy gaming into the middle of the night again. Part B: Manana gets curious about whether she has body odor after watching a news program on TV, so she has Chio-chan smell her.

Part A: One day, Andou's little sister Chiharu ends up visiting Chio at her house. Part B: Yuki-chan does some e outlandish things at times, but the girls find out she actually spends most of her time naked at home.
